Challenging Heights, in partnership with the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, marked the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, also known as Blue Day, in Senya Bereku.
The commemoration formed part of efforts to raise awareness about human trafficking and to engage community members on the risks and impact of the practice, particularly on children. Activities focused on educating participants on trafficking prevention and the importance of community involvement in protecting vulnerable children.
The event brought together students, community members, traditional leaders, and local authorities, reinforcing the need for collaboration between government institutions, civil society organizations, and communities in addressing trafficking in persons.
Challenging Heights continues to work with partners to promote child protection and support national efforts to combat human trafficking.
