Challenging Heights recently hosted a team of expert trainers from the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) for a five-day capacity-building workshop aimed at strengthening competence-based training delivery.
The workshop brought together facilitators, assessors, and internal verifiers to deepen their understanding of competence-based training methodologies and enhance their ability to deliver accredited vocational programs that meet national standards. Through interactive and practical sessions, participants explored best practices in facilitation, assessment, and internal verification, supported by hands-on activities that reflected real classroom and workplace environments.
A key focus of the training was to prepare Challenging Heights’ facilitators to align with CTVET’s accreditation requirements. This ensures that the young people enrolled in our programs receive quality, nationally recognized training that improves their employability and supports their transition into sustainable livelihoods.
Challenging Heights extends its sincere appreciation to the CTVET trainers for their expertise and dedication, and to our facilitators for their commitment to continuous learning. This collaboration marks an important step forward in strengthening institutional capacity and advancing our mission to empower children and youth through education, skills development, and vocational training.
