BY CHALLENGING HEIGHTS / NOVEMBER 13, 2017
So far in 2017, Challenging Heights has cared for 128 children at the Challenging Heights Hovde House, providing shelter, care, and support to children rescued from trafficking and other forms of exploitation.
The increasing number of children received this year highlights both the scale of the problem and the growing demand for safe, child-friendly spaces for recovery and rehabilitation. In response, Challenging Heights has begun expanding the Hovde House to improve living conditions and increase capacity to better meet the needs of rescued children.
The expansion will allow for additional sleeping areas and improved facilities to support the physical, emotional, and educational needs of children during their recovery process. This development forms part of Challenging Heights’ ongoing commitment to strengthening child protection services and ensuring that rescued children receive appropriate care.
Challenging Heights remains grateful to its partners and supporters whose contributions continue to make this work possible
