BY CHALLENGING HEIGHTS / JULY 31, 2018
In a country where an estimated 1.9 million children between the ages of 5 and 17 are engaged in some form of child labour, access to quality education remains a critical protective factor for children in Ghana.
Challenging Heights recognises education as a key tool in preventing child labour and trafficking. Through its programmes, the organisation works to support children’s access to schooling while engaging families and communities on the long-term value of education over child labour.
By promoting school enrolment, retention, and community awareness, Challenging Heights aims to reduce children’s vulnerability to exploitation and support their right to learn in a safe and supportive environment.
The organisation continues to advocate for stronger systems that ensure every child has the opportunity to access education and reach their full potential
