Challenging Heights is pleased to announce that children currently in rehabilitation have begun supervised home visits as part of their preparation for full reintegration into their families and communities.
The home visits allow social workers to assess the safety and readiness of families, rebuild relationships, and ensure that each child’s transition back home is both secure and sustainable. This step is a key component of the organization’s long-term commitment to the wellbeing and recovery of rescued children.
This reintegration milestone comes at a time when Ghana has, despite significant challenges, maintained its Tier 2 Watch List ranking in global anti-trafficking assessments. The ranking acknowledges the country’s continued efforts to address human trafficking and support survivors, including programs such as those implemented by Challenging Heights.
Challenging Heights remains dedicated to providing rescued children with the support they need to heal, reunite with their families, and reintegrate successfully into their communities.
