“Our mission: to learn about children’s rights”

By Challenging Heights | July 25, 2017

Last week, a group of students from Friends International Academy participated in the Challenging Heights Child Rights Camp (CRC), an initiative designed to educate young people about their rights and responsibilities.

Since its introduction in 2003, the Child Rights Camp has served as one of Challenging Heights’ key community-based programs aimed at empowering children with knowledge on child protection, safety, and personal development. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and educational activities, participants learn how to identify unsafe situations, seek help, and advocate for their own wellbeing.

The camp also offers a platform for students to engage in leadership-building exercises, teamwork, and values education—skills that strengthen their confidence and equip them to contribute positively within their schools and communities.

Challenging Heights remains committed to promoting child rights education as a fundamental step toward preventing exploitation and ensuring that every child grows in a safe and supportive environment.
