Challenging Heights participated in this year’s Ghana Civil Society Forum, organized by STAR-Ghana Foundation and its partners. The forum brought together civil society organizations (CSOs) from across the country to engage in critical discussions on issues affecting Ghana’s development space.
The 2025 forum was held under the theme: “Reimagining Development Financing and Civic Action: Challenges, Opportunities, and the Way Forward.” Discussions focused on the evolving development landscape and the need for CSOs to adapt to shifts in traditional funding models for community development initiatives.
Challenging Heights contributed to conversations on how civil society organizations can align with these changes, identify emerging opportunities, and respond strategically to the challenges facing the sector. The discussions also explored innovative approaches to financing and collaboration that can strengthen the impact and sustainability of community development efforts.
The organization looks forward to continued engagement on this important subject, advocating for an enabling environment supported by responsive policies and legislation that reflect current realities and promote sustainable community development.
