Challenging Heights participated in the National Day of Celebration Against Child Labour held in Bibiani, in Ghana’s Western North Region. The event, organized by the Child Labour Unit of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Relations, brought together government agencies, civil society organizations, traditional leaders, development partners, and community members to reaffirm their commitment to ending child labour in Ghana.
Held under the theme “Progress is clear, but there’s more to do: let’s speed up!”, the celebration highlighted the gains made so far while emphasizing the urgent need for collective, community-driven action to protect children’s rights.
As an organization with nearly two decades of experience combating child trafficking and labour, Challenging Heights used the platform to reaffirm its commitment to advocacy, community awareness, and empowering families and local leaders to take action.
The event served as a strong call to action, reminding all stakeholders that every child deserves a safe, free, and dignified childhood. Challenging Heights remains dedicated to working with partners and communities to accelerate progress and end child labour.
