Challenging Heights is launching a high-quality podcast platform focused on leadership, social justice, development, and public interest conversations in Ghana and beyond. We are seeking an experienced Podcast Host who can lead thoughtful, credible interviews with experts, practitioners, policymakers, and change-makers.
The podcast is being developed as a nationally relevant thought-leadership platform, designed to host credible voices and shape meaningful public conversations. This opportunity is ideal for journalists, broadcasters, experienced moderators, or media professionals who enjoy conducting intelligent, engaging interviews.
Role Structure
- Part-time
- One recording day per week
- Occasional additional recording days when necessary
- Recording location: Accra
What the Role Involves
- Hosting and moderating podcast conversations with invited guests
- Conducting structured and insightful interviews
- Researching guests and discussion topics
- Asking thoughtful follow-up questions during conversations
- Maintaining a confident and engaging on-camera presence
- Supporting promotion of podcast episodes through social media
Requirements
- Based in Accra
- Proven experience in podcast hosting, television presenting, broadcast journalism, or show hosting
- Strong interviewing and conversational skills
- Excellent spoken English
- Strong active listening ability
- Comfortable interviewing high-profile or expert guests
- Active presence on social media platforms
