We are thrilled to announce that 39 incredible women have successfully completed our transformative 100-week Direct Cash Transfer Engagement Program. This milestone marks not only the end of a journey, but the beginning of a new chapter filled with promise, resilience, and empowerment.

This initiative, a collaboration between Challenging Heights and our development partners, was designed to uplift women from vulnerable backgrounds by equipping them with essential life skills, providing financial support, and fostering confidence and self-reliance. Over the course of 100 weeks, these women participated in a series of targeted trainings and empowerment activities tailored to help them thrive.

The program included:

Financial Literacy Training – equipping participants with tools to budget, save, and make informed financial decisions.
Entrepreneurship Development – fostering business ideas and teaching the fundamentals of starting and managing a small enterprise.
Life Skills and Personal Empowerment – building confidence, communication, and decision-making skills crucial for success.
Sexual and Reproductive Health Education – ensuring women have accurate information and access to services to support their well-being.
Mentorship and Peer Support Networks – creating a space for shared learning and sustained encouragement.
The direct cash transfers provided a temporary safety net, allowing women to focus on their growth without the immediate pressure of financial hardship. Many used the funds to start small businesses, pay for their children’s education, invest in their homes, or support community initiatives.
