Challenging Heights Contributes to National Dialogue at Ghana Civil Society Forum 2025....

Challenging Heights was honored to take part in the 2025 Ghana Civil Society Forum, organized by STAR-Ghana Foundation and its partners. The forum served as a vital platform for civil society organizations (CSOs) from across the country to come together, share ideas, and engage in critical discussions on the future of development in Ghana.

This year’s theme, “Reimagining Development Financing and Civic Action – Challenges, Opportunities, and the Way Forward,” set the tone for thought-provoking conversations on the evolving landscape of funding and civic engagement. As traditional sources of development financing continue to shift, CSOs must re-strategize, collaborate, and innovate to sustain their impact.

At Challenging Heights, we were proud to contribute to discussions around:

The growing need for diversified and sustainable funding models
Strengthening local ownership of development efforts
The importance of inclusive policy environments that empower grassroots initiatives
Exploring community-driven solutions to social and economic challenges
We also emphasized the urgent need for a more enabling civic space, where CSOs can operate freely, advocate for human rights, and hold duty bearers accountable without fear or restriction.

This forum was not just a space for dialogue—it was a call to action. One that challenges all of us in the development sector to adapt, collaborate, and boldly shape a future where communities are resilient, voices are heard, and resources are mobilized locally and responsibly.

As we move forward, Challenging Heights remains committed to engaging in these crucial national conversations. We will continue to advocate for inclusive development policies and champion sustainable, community-led transformation.
