Nuhu is now a graduate

This is Nuhu, a beneficiary of our Enhanced Reintegration and Mentorship Program.

Nuhu is a 35-year-old man who became part of the mentorship program when he was in level 300 as a beneficiary. As a former victim of child trafficking, he was only supported by his family until he completed  High School. But as a determined young man whose aim was to further his education and become a lawyer in the future, Nuhu worked for a while to save some money for his tertiary education.

At a point, things became difficult for him in school as the money he earned was not enough to take care of his school fees as well as his personal needs. Nuhu was on the verge of giving up while in level 300 when he heard of the Enhanced Reintegration and Mentorship Program. He applied and qualified to be supported throughout his educational journey.

Nuhu graduated a month ago from the University of Education Winneba with a Second-Class Upper Division in Human Resource Management. His class came as big news to the mentorship team because it was an improvement on his Second-class lower division before he became part of the project.

At his graduation, Nuhu stated that “the program has been of great help to me. I believe I could have made a first-class if I had been a beneficiary from the beginning of my tertiary education. This is because I started studying with ease not having to worry about payment of fees and purchasing of supplies after I became a beneficiary. My confidence has shot up and my academic prowess improved all under this project. My warmest appreciation to the Challenging Heights team and anyone who supported me up to here”.

Nuhu has made all of us proud and with your help, we will continue supporting him until his dream of becoming a lawyer becomes a reality ????.
