Anita is a Survivor!
This beautiful lady you see right here is called Anita, she is 22 years old and a survivor ????!
She was trafficked at the age of 6 when her parents gave her out to an unknown man to be taken to Lake Volta. While there, She worked as a fisher girl and a domestic worker for 5 years until she was rescued by Challenging Heights.
Anita went through the rehabilitation process at our recovery center before being reintegrated. We have since then been taking care of her till today. She completed senior high school not long ago and waiting to get into Nursing school as she wants to be a nurse some time to come.
Today, Anita was on air at our radio station @Nycefm to share her story with the general public. She used the opportunity to educate the public about the dangers of child trafficking and urged all and sundry to advocate for the rights of children.
