I hope to own a shop someday.....
We had the honor of having OB tell us his experience as a survivor on Lake Volta live on the radio today (Nyce FM) as part of our efforts to raise awareness of the detrimental consequences of child trafficking.
OB, a fisherboy who toiled on the Lake for six years before his rescue by our team, was saved by Challenging Heights two years ago. While on air, he talked about the experiences he had while living on the Lake and how it affected his life. The most motivating aspect of his story is the fact that OB is now training to become an Aluminum Fabricator and wants to open his own business someday.
He extended his appreciation to Challenging Heights and God for supporting him and providing for him thus far. Nana Ama Safowaa, a field officer, joined him on the radio and used the opportunity to educate the public about child rights and the resources provided by Challenging Heights for survivors.
