The Department of Social Welfare (Central Region) hosted a one-day workshop yesterday that our team from Recovery House attended. The workshop covered regulations on child rights and protection as well as country and international adoption from a Ghanaian perspective. 

Attendees in the session hosted by the Regional Director Mrs. Monica Siaw included representatives from NGOs and government officials. Since we had the honour of being the featured organization, Rosemary, our Senior Manager for Recovery, gave a brief overview of our reintegration process and success stories. 

We are grateful to the Regional Director and her staff for organizing such a thought-provoking and memorable event; our team had a great time yesterday.
