A On Day Workshop on Sexual Violence Against Boys
Our advocacy team organized a one-day workshop for stakeholders as part of spreading awareness on issues of sexual violence against boys.
These stakeholders were enlightened on how relevant it is to ensure the safety of boys in their various districts. They were also introduced to the #BlueUmbrellaDay and why it is important to celebrate this day.
We had a few of them sharing their experiences on this issue and how boys find it difficult to report assaults of this sort. At the end of the workshop, we admonished them to become advocates and spread the good news about protecting boys against all forms of sexual violence.
