One Day Training On sexual Violence Against Boys
We are still raising awareness on issues of sexual violence against boys.
Our advocacy team organized another training today for assembly members to draw their attention to this prevalent issue in our communities and how to curb it. Most of them had no idea of the existence of this issue and how it is affecting boys in our communities.
They showed their appreciation to us and our donors for organizing this insightful workshop. We used the opportunity to encourage them to report issues of this sort to us, the social warfare, the police, and other child protection agencies. We are optimistic they learned a lot from the presentations and will put on their armor by impacting the knowledge they acquired on their community members.
