Ahead of the 2024 World Day Against Child Labour, we, together with our partners are organizing a community sensitization durbar with the theme "LET'S ACT ON OUR COMMITMENT: END CHILD LABOUR" in Tamale to commemorate this important day. The Durbar is expected to bring stakeholders from all across the country to ponder over this year's theme, strategize and intensify the fight to end child labour. 

As part of our preparatory engagements towards the Commemoration of this event on Tuesday, 11th June 2024, our Northern Ghana team paid a courtesy visit to the Choggu Naa to formally invite him to the very important community sensitization durbar.

At the palace, mutually beneficial discussions were held leading to Choggu Naa's acceptance to grace tomorrow's event. The visit also helped to garner even more support for the event. 

We are deeply grateful to the revered chief for his warm reception and acceptance to grace the event. We believe that his presence, and that of the many invited stakeholders will help sensitize the general public on the need to wage a collective fight against child labour.
