Training Community Leaders to Become Great Advocate for Children's Right....

As an organization that has issues of child trafficking, child labour, and the worst forms of child abuse situations at heart, we always enjoy hosting workshops where we empower other stakeholders to become outstanding advocates.

In the course of our efforts to address the problem of child abuse in Northern Ghana, we trained leaders from ten different communities, including chiefs, assembly members, fishermen, farmers, pastors, and traditional and Islamic leaders, on how to use their platforms to inform their constituents about child labour and child trafficking. They received education on the proper channels to use for reporting such situations as well.

The program was incredibly successful as our resource persons which comprised DSW, CHRAJ, the Girl Child Education Director, and the Police shared their extensive knowledge on the topics addressed. Here are some photos from the occasion.
