Gyadu's Story Continues.....
Until his rescue in May 2023, Gyadu bought his own clothes from the little money he saved from the extra job he did on the Lake. He shared a room with the other fisher boys working for their master. He usually slept on the bare floor and never received medical attention whenever he was sick.
With your continuous support, Gyadu is currently at our recovery house undergoing the rehabilitation process to ensure his complete healing. He’s also in school and living the life he missed growing up. He is creating awesome memories together with the other rescued children.
There still are some children on the Lake Volta that need to be rescued as Gyadu. Your activism, collaboration and generosity can make a significant difference in a child’s rescue. Join us in making Ghana a nation free from child labour, child trafficking and worst forms of abuse, thank you!
